Travis Baker

Since he’s a college student, one could assume Travis is just another teenager trying to kill time and earn a few bucks with after school and summer employment. But what a wrong assumption that would be.

We discovered him at a Reno County Teen Job Fair a couple years ago. Travis works with Ed in the Catalyst “web world” doing data base programming and all that sort of stuff those techy-types like to do. But the big thing is: he has certainly risen to the occasion and is making a real contribution that is greatly appreciated by us all.

Highly skilled in several programming languages, Travis took first place in Java at the state competition. He was the only representative from Kansas in that category at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference 2010 competitions in Anaheim, California.
